STUD EARRINGS

Studs are small earrings that sit close to the ear. Studs can have different shapes and be made of different materials. At Efva Attling Stockholm you will find stud earrings in recycled white gold, red gold and silver adorned with stones or decorations.

Stud earrings in silver and gold are especially suitable for those who have many ear piercings but work just as well in single pairs. For a classic and timeless look, you can choose simple studs in gold or silver, while for a trendy and modern look, choose studs in alternative designs. For example, the pearl is currently both a classic and trendy choice, we offer several kinds of pearl-decorated studs. You will be able to use a pearl earring for whatever outfit you want, our pearl studs are available both as simple studs but also come in more luxurious forms such as “Day pearl & stars”, small earrings decorated with diamonds. If you have several piercings in your ears, it is nice to work with asymmetry and wear varying numbers of studs in varying metals.

At Efva Attling Stockholm, we only work with genuine precious jewellery, by which we mean that they are made with a large amount of silver and gold. This means that our earrings are made in 925 sterling silver and 18k gold. Thanks to their high proportions of noble metal the pieces are not as prone to react with the air and will be less likely to discolour, making our studs durable and long-lasting. There are many reasons why it is better to recycle gold and silver instead of mining new. Gold and silver, like other metals, are finite natural resources, moreover gold in particular is very rare and the mining industry leaves much to wish for. By instead recycling gold and silver, we minimise the toil on our earth's resources.
